About us

Hot Dog Surf Shop has been owned and run by the same family for 28 years, in that time we’ve built up a solid reputation for being a friendly and helpful place to buy or browse for all things coastal!

Many of you who have visited the shop will know the friendly faces of Pauline, Norman and Claire, we are lucky enough to have customers visit time after time and year after year, hopefully we must be doing something right!

The shop is located a couple of miles from Gower’s best breaks, perfect for hiring, calling in for a wander or grabbing those bits and pieces that you need on your way for a surf. We stock an extensive selection of hardware including ABC boards, lots of different soft boards for beginners. We also stock wetsuits for every season including O’neill, Ripcurl, Billabong, Roxy and Cskins also accessories for surfing, sea dipping, paddle boarding, jet skiing just splashing in the waves or walking on the beach.

We also sell bodyboards, masks, snorkels, fins and many other watersport accessories and out the front of the shop we have a second hand surfboard rack, which is constantly changing. We also hire out boards and wetsuits all year around.
For clothing we stock all the major brands including Quiksilver, Roxy, Billabong, Ripcurl, Reef and our own brand Hot Dog Surf Shop to name just a few!!
